Miller Ferry Scheduling Tops Island News

SBI south-eastern shore takes a pounding on Sunday evening.

After a day of three weather dependent scheduling notices, Miller Boat Line announced a new schedule for Monday, 8 December 2014.

“Schedule Update for Monday, Dec. 8
Due to wind direction, morning trips will be via DOWNTOWN dock. Leave downtown PIB to CAT 9am, 11am. Leave CAT to Downtown 10am, 12 noon. NO large truck or trailers. We will update afternoon trip times & departure location Monday afternoon.”

A small craft advisory is in effect until 4 a.m. Monday, with winds out of the east.  Monday’s forecast shifts winds to the south at 15 knots.
